London, 16th Sept 2025 – Jameela Jamil has announced an exciting partnership with Vinted to make signature items from her personal wardrobe available on Vinted for members in the UK. The sale will include pieces by Allce and Olivia, Roberto Cavalli and Vivienne Westwood and will go live on Tuesday 23rd September with proceeds supporting Oxfam.
Jameela Jamil, Actor and Activist said: “I'm really excited to be partnering with Vinted. I've been a proud second-hand and vintage shopper for years, and to me the joy of fashion is not about how new an item is but how it makes you look and feel. Selling some of the pieces I've collected over the years gives me an opportunity to let those items have a second life with people who will enjoy and appreciate them as much as I have. I'm also pleased that proceeds from the sale will support Oxfam and the important work they're doing around the world.”
Jameela is this year’s face of Oxfam’s Second Hand September campaign, which has at its centre the Vinted and Oxfam Style for Change runway show. Taking place on the 18th of September, the show will open London Fashion Week with a catwalk of pre-loved looks sourced from Vinted and Oxfam shops, celebrating iconic styles from Zoot Suits and Teddy Girls to Punk, Flower Power and Statement Tees.
The runway will be styled by thrifting pioneer Bay Garnett and will feature famous faces including musician Sam Ryder, broadcaster Katie Piper and model-activist Munroe Bergdorf. All items from the show will be available to purchase through Oxfam’s Vinted wardrobe from Monday the 22nd of September.
This is the second year Oxfam and Vinted have partnered on Style for Change. Both organisations share a commitment to championing second-hand as the future of fashion.
Mary Creagh, Circular Economy Minister said: “Our Plan for Change is focused on ending our throwaway culture and ensuring that the 700,000 tonnes of clothes we throw away each year are worn more. United action by the Government, businesses and the public is the only way to stop fashion costing the earth. I welcome this partnership between Vinted and Oxfam- offering shoppers the chance to buy iconic, pre-loved British design classics.”
Jessie de la Merced, Vinted’s VP Corporate Affairs said: “Vinted has helped millions across the UK discover the joy of second-hand shopping. Our collaboration with Oxfam on Style for Change celebrates pre-loved fashion and shows what’s possible when leaders in the second-hand space unite. With Jameela Jamil making pieces from her own wardrobe available on Vinted to support Oxfam, we’re proving that second-hand isn’t just stylish, it’s a force for good.”
Lorna Fallon, Oxfam’s Retail Director, said: “At Oxfam we believe that what we wear has power. It says something about what we stand for and the world we want to live in. We are pleased to once again be partnering with Vinted to show that second hand means looking good and doing good. This year our Style for Change show in partnership with Vinted will spotlight fashion looks from across eras and will urge people to make a powerful fashion statement by dressing for the world they want to see. All the looks from the show will be sold on Oxfam’s Vinted wardrobe, helping to raise vital funds to help tackle poverty and inequality around the world”.
